In this video we have to get the rear brakes fixed and or replaced on the 1999 NBS Silverado. This is by far the worst brake rotor I have ever replaced. It is completely through the back side of the rotor. We have to keep this thing on the road to pull a lawn mower so we are only replacing the rear brakes. I wanted to upgrade at the same time so we are using powerstop drilled and slotted rotors. The zinc coating always looks good even after years of driving. The single piston rear calipers on the silverado have always had issues. I decided to replace the calipers with new not rebuilt calipers. I also thought due to the age of the truck it would be a good idea to replace all the brake lines. I also took some time off camera to paint the new calipers red with por15 caliper paint. Not only does this look better but it stops again. Quiet and good pedal feel.
