For this video I have captured the camera's output directly by connecting the composite video output straight to my capture card rather than recording it to VHS tape. This shows what the camera is capable of in itself without any image degradation from the VHS format. The video has still needed to be deinterlaced and resized for viewing on YouTube so it is not exactly as it would look on a CRT but this is unavoidable.
After doing this video I realised that I'd had the white balance set a bit towards the red side so I corrected it and did a bit more recording which is here:.
