Haven't flown into LAX in a year and a half and it was nice being back in LA proper. (I fly into Long Beach on average once a month.) Its always a nice and scenic approach into the Los Angles area from the east and on this day it was bright and sunny and visibility was pretty decent. I was slightly disappointed that the weather was clear and calm with normal ops as the day before it was windy and LAX was in east flow.
