In this video, I start working through some basic maintenance and diagnostics on the 1978 Vice Grip Garage Corvette. I’m installing new spark plugs, addressing ignition issues, and uncovering a few problems along the way.
This car runs, but it definitely isn’t happy. The timing has never seemed right, it smells heavily of fuel, and it smokes more than it should. Rather than guessing, this video is about starting at the basics and working forward one step at a time.
This is part of an ongoing series where I’m documenting the process of diagnosing and sorting out this Corvette the right way.
