In a shocking incident from the capital city Bhubaneswar, police have detained a minor accused in a spray attack jewellery loot case in the Kalinga Nagar area.

According to reports, the accused allegedly used a chemical spray to target the victim before snatching gold ornaments and fleeing the spot. Acting swiftly, the police tracked down and apprehended the juvenile suspect.

The incident had created panic among residents of Kalinga Nagar, raising concerns over safety in the area. Police are investigating whether more individuals were involved in the crime.

Further legal procedures are being initiated under the Juvenile Justice Act.
