This surgery is done in spinal aneasthesia after keeping the patient in fasting for 4-5 hours approximately. It is a painless and scarless procedure. The patient is catheterized after the surgery and is on ivy fluid for 12 hours. The bandage is changed next day and patient is given food orally. The patient is discharged after 24 hours and medicines are prescribed for 7 days.
The sutures used in the surgery are absorbable. The full result of the surgery takes upto 1.5 months. Normal activities can be resumed after one week.
