Learn Russian for beginners (A2 level) through real-life experience in Moscow!
In this video, I teach Russian using Comprehensible Input, natural speech, and real situations — not a textbook.
This lesson is designed for A1-A2+ beginners (not from zero) and is also helpful for B1 learners who want clear, slow, natural Russian listening practice.
We explore Maslenitsa in Moscow on Tverskaya Square during a frosty winter day (−13°C, feels like −20°C!) with beautiful decorations combining Maslenitsa and Chinese New Year — a unique cultural fusion.
In the second part, we move to the kitchen:
I show how to make traditional Russian blini and explain what Russians eat them with — condensed milk, sour cream, honey, jam, red caviar, meat, and more. I demonstrate how we fold them, dip them, and eat them in real life.
This is:
• Real Russian in context
• Unscripted natural speech
• Clear pronunciation & adapted speed
• Visual support (street + kitchen objects)
• Acting, gestures, and real objects to help comprehension
I speak slowly and clearly, but naturally — because this is how Russian works in real life.
If you want to improve your Russian listening skills at A2 level through authentic immersion, this video is for you.
