This master class will show you how to create professional looking music videos with next to zero budget, and resources and materials you already have!
Gei Ping will use her film industry experience to teach newcomers the ins and outs, tips and tricks of producing a music video, starting from pre-production, production, and post production!

This entails planning and executing a shoot, tips on cinematography, and composing your shot, to editing tips and tricks and how to use software!

The plan for this lesson is separated in three parts. Pre-production, production, and post-production.

Pre production: Gei Ping will show tips on how to plan an execute a music video. It is important to creatively lay out what the story is trying to tell, what type of shots you're trying to achieve and work through the creative process. At this stage you are thinking of logistics of how to execute your video.

Production: Gei Ping will tell you how to use your phone as a camera and how to shoot, light, compose shots so it looks cinematic!

Editing: this is the main part of the lesson, how to edit footage, With provided clips, people will edit along with Gei Ping Hohl and show you how to use the free software DaVinci Resolve to edit your music video.
