Welcome to this recap session of the fourth class! In this video, we review the file structure and prerequisites needed for our next WRF modelling class. We cover the organisation of the NWP and Build_WRF directories and demonstrate how to acquire and visualize Global Forecast System (GFS) data.
Additionally, we walk through the process of configuring a simulation domain using the WRF Domain Wizard, using Switzerland as a case study to understand map projections and grid resolutions.
