Experimental drawing activities- using line, pencil, fine-liner, biro

Описание: This video has a variety of different drawing ideas to be used to explore drawing in the classroom.
1- Cartridge paper, 2b pencil, blind 3-5 minute drawings. Students should use straight not sketchy lines.
2- Cartridge paper, 2b pencil, blind 3-5 minute drawings. Varying pressure, students should press lightly in some areas and hard or heavily in other areas.
3- Sugar paper, 2b pencil, opposite hand drawing. 5 minutes, line drawing only, students can look at paper but still need to carefully observe.
4- Brown paper, 4b pencil, normal line drawing.
5- Tissue paper, blind drawing in fine liner, normal hand, line only.
6- Cartridge paper, fine liner, blind drawing. Students can then add water to selected parts of the drawing, not every line, be selective.
7- Brown paper, fine liner, blind drawing 2-3 minutes of only 2 selected items, students need to try and space the drawing out. Students add to drawing making the line vary in thickness. (Video)
8- Tracing paper, fine liner, normal drawing. Students to add dots to the drawing not accurate tone, they need to be selective about where.
9- Sugar paper, biro pen, blind drawing. Students complete 2 drawings spaced on the paper, then they should thicken the lines with square ends and a border. (Video)
10- Tracing paper, biro pen, normal drawing. Adding crosshatching the add contrast.
11- Cartridge paper, biro pen, normal drawing, drawing in circles. Exploring mark making.
12- Brown paper, biro pen, continuous line.
