On a pilgrimage from London to the tomb of Thomas Becket in Canterbury, a group of travellers from all walks of medieval society recount tales and stories to each other to provide amusement on the journey. The series was nominated for an oscar & won several other awards & Each of the 3 episodes contains a frame story & 3 tales by different directors. The puppet animation frame tale itself is directed by Aida Zyablikova, who also one of of the 9 tales in total
