Описание: AKTINA TV Report on the one of a kind Greek Music Journey 2019 (GMJ) concert produced by Elena Maroulleti on May 17, 2019 at New York's historic theater, The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College. This was a benefit concert for New York based public service media, AKTINA FM and AKTINA TV. Featuring Bouzouki Legend of Greece Thanasis Polykandriotis, the talented singers Aris Kampanos, Afroditi Chatzimina and the distinguished musicians, Nikos Stratigos, keyboards, Nikos Kainourgios, guitar and Nikos Ntrarilas, drums, the concert was crowned with huge success. The report features some 17 full-length laika (popular folk) songs composed by Polykandriotis, as well as laika and rembetika, and amazing instrumentals and other great Greek composers such as Manos Hatzidakis, Mikis Theodorakis, Stavros Xarhakos, Markos Vamvakaris, Vasilis Tsitsanis, Apostolos Kaldaras among others.
