Secure Your Twitter (X) Account With DUO Mobile

Many of the applications that you use today, allow you to use 2 step verification in order to secure your account. X, formerly known as Twitter is one of the apps which allows you to use Duo Mobile or Google Authenticator to provide extra login security. On X click your account icon, in the upper left hand corner. Then go to Settings & Privacy, then Security and Account Access, then Security.
Now click two factor authentication. Choose authentication app. Now you can either scan the QR code on the X app, using Duo or Google Authenticator or whatever authentication app of your choice on another phone. If you do not have another device, select use this device instead. And it will attempt to find authenticators, which may already be on your phone. You can also select enter code. If you setup a Twitter account on your device, then you may be provided a confirmation code and you can enter it there. If you do not have an authenticator on your phone, then you may need to download it from your app store.
