如是我聞。
Thus have I heard.

一時佛在舍衛國，祇樹給孤獨園，與大比丘眾千二百五十人俱。
At one time, the Buddha was in the country of Śrāvastī, in the Jeta Grove, Anāthapiṇḍada’s Garden, accompanied by 1,250 great monks.

爾時世尊食時，著衣持鉢，入舍衛大城乞食。
At that time, the World-Honored One, at mealtime, put on his robe, took his bowl, and entered the great city of Śrāvastī to beg for food.

若有善男子善女人，聞是佛名，一心信樂，乃至百千萬億念佛名者，即生極樂國土，不退菩薩地。
If there are good men and good women who hear the name of this Buddha, wholeheartedly trust and rejoice, and even for a hundred thousand million thoughts recite the Buddha’s name, they will be born in the Land of Ultimate Bliss and reach the stage of non-retrogression.

阿彌陀佛名號，功德無量。
The name of Amitābha Buddha holds immeasurable merit.

極樂世界，土為赤色，七寶具莊嚴無比。
In the Land of Ultimate Bliss, the ground is the color of red gold, adorned with seven jewels, and beyond compare in splendor.

有大池水清澈，池中蓮華百千萬億。
There are great pools of clear, pure water, with hundreds of thousands of millions of lotus flowers within them.

諸天人民，寶樹林立，香氣芬馥。
Celestial beings and humans dwell among jewel trees, where divine fragrances fill the air.

欲生彼國者，當一心稱念佛名，不雜異念，必得生彼國土。
Those who wish to be born in that land should single-mindedly recite the Buddha’s name, without distraction, and they will surely be reborn there.

若有眾生，壽終正念，稱我名者，必定生我國土，不退菩薩地。
If any sentient being, at the end of life, holds right mindfulness and calls my name, they will certainly be born in my land and attain the non-retrogressive stage of Bodhisattvas.

極樂國土，寶樹林立，鳥鳴聲妙。
In the Land of Bliss, jewel trees stand tall and the birds sing wondrous songs.

諸天人民，香氣芬馥，光明普照。
Celestial beings and humans are surrounded by fragrance, with radiant light shining everywhere.

欲修善行者，應常稱念佛名，心不散亂，則得生彼國土。
Those who wish to cultivate good practices should constantly recite the Buddha’s name with an undistracted mind, and will thus be born in that land.

念佛功德不可思議，受用無量。
The merit of reciting the Buddha’s name is inconceivable, and the blessings received are boundless.

凡夫若能一心稱念，即得阿彌陀佛加持。
If even ordinary beings recite with one-pointed mind, they will receive Amitābha Buddha’s blessing.

若有善行者，壽終念佛，即生極樂國土。
Those who perform virtuous acts and recite at life’s end will be reborn in the Pure Land of Bliss.

凡夫也能無憂無息，將生福利，心至安樂。
Even ordinary people will live without sorrow or restlessness, blessed with happiness and peace of mind.

世眾生眾者，一心稱念佛名，不退菩薩地，將得國土福靈，光明兼照，至十世界。
All beings who recite the Buddha’s name with one heart will attain the Bodhisattva’s non-retrogressive stage, radiating blessings and light across ten worlds.

念佛者，成就功德無量，受用不盡，心性至聖，至生極樂，不留往世，至受安樂。
Those who recite the Buddha’s name accomplish infinite merit, enjoy endless blessings, and reach the Pure Land, transcending past worlds, resting in perfect peace.

阿彌陀佛，將至生眾，心心稱念，一然復淨，必得勝國，不退菩薩地。
Amitābha Buddha welcomes those who call upon him with pure hearts — they will surely reach his land of victory and attain non-retrogression.

這是真經，是佛的法，成就世生福利，受用無量，心性安樂，不憂不息。
This is the true scripture, the Dharma of the Buddha — it brings worldly and transcendent blessings, infinite joy, and a heart free from sorrow or restlessness.
