Описание: Épisode 1/2 sur l'ouvrage Opéra 10. Le Vallo Alpino ou « Mur alpin » est la ligne de défense italienne conçue avant et pendant la 2ème guerre mondiale reposant sur des forts et des casemates construites pour protéger 1 800 kilomètres de frontière avec la France, la Suisse, l'Autriche et la Yougoslavie. Construite principalement entre 1930 et 1935, la ligne de fortifications fut renforcée près de l’Autriche sur les ordres de Mussolini dans le Tyrol du Sud entre 1938 et 1942 pour créer une barrière de feu contre le Reich allemand.
