The 50s Prime Time Café is a blast from the past; you walk into an eatery themed to Mom's kitchen from the 1950s. Those props are real, and they appeared in average kitchens across America in the 50s. Each Dining room has its unique style. Did you know each room has a clock on the wall, set to a different time? Those times make it easier for the server to locate your table by room.

Be sure to bring your appetite and sense of humor because Mom and the extended family aren't above giving you lessons in table etiquette—and doling out punishment to misbehaving boys and girls.

The menu has changed over the years, but the atmosphere hasn't. So pull a vinyl chair up to the Formica table, and get ready for a hearty home-cooked meal like Mom's old-fashioned pot roast or Aunt Liz's golden fried chicken. Be sure to put your napkin in your lap and keep your elbows off the table unless you want a stern talking-to from Uncle Fred.

Adults can bop over to the Tune-In Lounge or ask the server if they found the keys to dad's liquor cabinet, and, for an extra-special treat, we are allowed to watch TV while eating dinner! Kids, that's something that NEVER happened in the 1950s. So let's sit at a retro TV table and enjoy black-and-white clips from popular prime-time shows around 1955, give or take, the year Disneyland opened. I always wanted to recreate the environment of the 50th prime-time café at home. Relive the experience. You likely won't be watching on a 1950s TV, but on your phone or mobile device will do just fine. This 3-hour loop is the complete 1950s Prime Time Café loop, ok the loop is about 50 minutes long. I repeated it a few times. I wanted to be sure you finished your meal before it ended.
