Описание: Rupert Lowe questioned Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence Jeremy Pocklington in a meeting of the Public Accounts Committee Thursday, asking if Pocklington was the right man for the job.

The Committee was meeting to discuss the affordability of the Defence Investment Plan. Lowe added that it is crucial to have the correct team in place so as to not waste time and money on budgets that may not be fit for purpose.

Pocklington has been at his post since last November after working a series of other Permanent Secretary jobs, leading Lowe to question if he is a jack of all trades and a master of none.
