Описание: Welcome to the first video in our Aerospace Medicine Seminar Series! Aerospace Medicine is a unique and exciting field. It deals with concepts and physiology that are largely foreign to the non-Aerospace Medicine-trained physician. The Aerospace Seminar Series is designed to be a free, publicly-accessible, introductory level familiarization to topics in Aerospace Medicine, training, and career opportunities for anyone interested in learning more about aviation and space medicine.

What this Aerospace Seminar Series is NOT:

-A course for academic or elective credit

-Qualification for being officially trained in Aerospace Medicine, or representation as such (this includes verbal and written documentation claiming to have been trained in Aerospace Medicine, trained at UTMB, or trained as a NASA physician or Flight Surgeon)

-A substitute for formal, ACGME-accredited Aerospace Medicine training or Aerospace Medicine work experience to be used in medical practice or decision-making
