In this video, I go through why the copy theory falls apart, what abstraction might really be doing, and why Caine reacts the way he does when characters start breaking down. When you connect the dots with Kinger, time dilation, and what happens after abstraction, things get pretty unsettling.

If the characters’ consciousnesses are actually trapped and their bodies are gone then every moment in the circus actually matters.
