Obviously there are professional methods for rebuilding engines. The Spare Change 350 is just an opportunity to tinker around with spare parts that are laying around. Over the years I have seen far more clandestine methods using to "recondition" an engine. I am employing obsolete methods executed with good intent to show that relatively reasonable results can be expected if you are diligent.
And most importantly remember, it's all in good fun.
