Heart Of Stone [or the definition of Women's Love For Men]

Описание: At the end of 2024, I was so lucky to have been able to see a performance of the musical Six in London. It was incredible, magical, and it left a lasting impression on me. Ironically, "Heart of Stone" was one of the few songs from the musical I hadn't heard before the show, and I simply burst into tears when I heard it live.

The theme of women's love for men and what women are capable of doing for men is a subject that resonates with and fascinates me. I've already touched on it in another edit, here:    • the good God is a woman [Multifandom]  

Here, I'm revisiting the topic, seeking to show everything women are capable of accepting out of love for a man, whether it's romantic or parental love, by following the lyrics, because I feel that beyond telling Jane Seymour's story, this song addresses the subject with a gentleness that reminds us it's a historical issue, in truth. This devotion that women can have for men is something we've inherited through centuries of living under patriarchy, centuries of having it drilled into our heads that we must submit to men. I think remnants of that remain in every woman, unfortunately, which often leads to situations where we suffer far too much.

It took me almost two years to make this edit, and I'm not satisfied with it, but I don't think I can do better, so here's the result, and I hope you like it. Happy new year! :D
