Blueberry Success Year After Year | Our Spring Care & Feeding Routine

Описание: The formula to our success at growing blueberries starts with removal of weed pressure. Normally we pull all the weeds each spring by hand, and then follow up with some good mulch. This year, the weed pressure was so great, we decided to try to flame weed. Sounds easy right, flame the weeds - but don't harm the blueberries. We came up with a solution, that worked quite well! In fact, it worked so well, we'll probably just save the boards for next time.

The second thing we always do in the spring, is fertilize. Blueberries love low pH acid based soil. So we tailor our fertilizer of choice to match.
