In this episode of Reclaiming the Remix, acclaimed hip hop producer Yogi (a member of The Hitmen production collective formed by Bad Boy Records) stops by Dubspot for a lesson on Native Instruments' Maschine with instructor Shareef Islam. Yogi and Shareef discuss the production tools and ingredients that went into the creation of G. Dep's 2001 hit single "Let's Get It" -- the track widely credited for popularizing the "Harlem Shake" dance which originated in Harlem in the early 1980s.
