Vemulawada Temple Kode Mokku
Why Kode Mokku?
Kode Mokku is a ritual where the devotee makes the pradakshinam of the temple with a kode (bull) which is vahanam (Nandi) of Lord Shiva.
Normal Kode Mokkubadi
Kode Mokkubadi Timings: 6:15 am – 8:30 pm
Performed daily
Ticket cost: Free
Special Kode Mokkubadi
Timings: 5:00 am – 8:30 pm
Ticket cost: Rs.200
Bahumanam: One Laddu
No.of persons allowed: Couple or Single
Vemulawada Temple Kode Mokku procedure:
The devotee holds the rope tied to Kode and goes around the temple for once. At the end of the Pradakshinam, the Kode will be tied to the rock in the temple premises. Devotees pray to the deity in their first visit, once the wish the fulfilled then they perform this Kode Mokkubadi. Couples usually does this when their wish for the child is fulfilled.
