but the Ki.
Because a warrior whose Ki was depleted
was already defeated before the fight began.
And a warrior whose Ki flowed freely and fully
was formidable beyond physical measure.

Ki is what you feel when you wake up truly rested
and the world seems possible.
It is what drains when you live out of alignment —
when you ignore your body,
betray your values,
or spend yourself on things that do not matter.

To cultivate Ki is to take seriously
the energy you carry, spend, and replenish.
To protect it. To direct it. To let it move through you
without blockage, without resistance, without fear.

This music was composed to move Ki.
To dissolve the places where energy has stagnated.
To wake up what has gone dormant.
To remind the body — and the spirit —
what it feels like to be fully, vitally alive.
