A little Rye Road Trip through historic England - Part I

Описание: The first half of our road trip, starting and finishing in the historic, charming town of Rye in East Sussex.

The purpose of the video is to inspire those who can to visit some of our favourite places in this part of our world, all from the beautiful town of Rye.

We start with a brief look at Rye before jumping in the car to make our way to Rye Harbour, a couple of miles away. We take a stroll around Rye harbour, along to the coast and back through Rye Harbour Nature Reserve.

We jump in the car again and head 5 miles along the coastline to Winchelsea Beach, and this Monday in the summer is surprisingly quiet. A possible hidden gem?

The next destination is Winchelsea, a historic town that, like Rye, is one of the two original Ancient towns of the Cinque Ports. The briefest of looks, including that of the last resting place of Spike Milligan, comedian, writer, poet...

Back on the road again, we weave our way along to our final destination, Bodiam Castle.

Finally, before we wrap up, a quick look around the Kent and East Sussex's Steam railway's Bodiam Station and a teaser of Bodiam Castle.
