Whittlesea Mayor Aidan McLindon joined Outsiders to discuss his Australia Day event at the Commercial Hotel Sports Bar in Werribee, Victoria.
In “recognition and respect” for Australia’s past, Mr McLindon included a minute of silence at the event.
“We have a handful of bureaucrats and some woke lefties still trying to divide the community and exploit our Indigenous brothers and sisters over this issue, which is why I have come up with this idea,” Mr McLindon told Sky News Australia.
