Xicheng was the seat of the capital of Yan in the Warring States period, and was part of Kyoto in the Liao, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties.
As the founding place of Beijing for more than 3,000 years and the capital for more than 800 years, it is a fusion area of royal culture and folk culture, and an area where various cultures such as the imperial city culture, the Shizi culture, the folk culture and the religious culture are highly integrated.

Xicheng has many scenic spots, and there are famous attractions in the district: Beihai Park, Jingshan Park, Forbidden City, Baita Temple, Temple of the Moon, Guangji Temple, Fayuan Temple, Xidan, Liulichang, Shichahai, Baiyunguan, Tianqiao and so on.


Route：
On this trip, we start from the east side of Beijing West Railway Station near the Huichengmen Bridge
After that, we traveled east along Qian San Men Street, arrived at Qian Men, and then traveled south along the west side road of Dashilan, via Zhu Shi Kou and Tian Qiao;
At Yongdingmen, we turn westward and drive through Taoranting Park to reach the Beijing Grand View Garden;
Thereafter, we will also pass through Tianning Temple, Niujie, Xidan, Xinjiekou, Deshengmen, Drum Tower, Beihai Park and Qingwangfu;
After passing through the Deshengmen Arrow Tower, we end this tour near the Madian Bridge.
