Normally the 29th day of a month might not seem that significant, but in most years February only has 28 days.
This year is a leap year. That means there is an extra day added to the calendar.
Leap years happen every four years, with a few exceptions.
That’s because a year is based on how long it takes the Earth to orbit the sun: about 365 days.
