What are the features and reward points of the Kotak Zen Credit Card?

The Kotak Zen credit card offers various benefits and reward points.

1. Zen points

For every Rs. 150 spent on shopping (like lifestyle goods, jewellery, departmental stores and apparel) using the Kotak Zen credit card, the cardholder receives 10 Zen points.

On any other Rs. 150 purchase, the cardholder gets 5 Zen points except for transactions like cash expenditures, fuel purchases, and EMIs.

2. Milestone program

Cardholders are eligible for additional Zen points every year if they meet the following spending requirements:

If cardholders spend Rs. 3 lakhs in an anniversary year, they qualify for 7500 bonus Zen points.

Further, if they spend Rs. 6 lakhs in an anniversary year, they qualify for 15000 bonus Zen points.

*If you qualify for the bonus Zen points, they are added to your card account after the completion of the anniversary period.

3. Welcome gift

You receive 1500 Zen points after paying Rs. 1,500 joining fees as a welcome gift. Free credit cards do not have access to this feature.

4. Travel benefits

Cardholders can receive eight complimentary airport lounge visits (two every quarter) within India.

5. Priority pass access

Cardholders are entitled to a free priority pass membership and three free visits to priority pass international lounges per year at more than 1300 lounges.

If the customer has made at least four purchases in the previous 12 months, priority pass cards will be issued at no cost upon customer request for the primary cardholder only.

However, if the cardholder does not do four transactions in the previous 12 months, they can opt for a paid priority pass at Rs. 2000 (plus taxes).

6. Fuel surcharge waiver

Cardholders do not receive credit card reward points for fuel purchases or transactions.

However, any transactions between Rs. 500 and Rs. 3000 are eligible for the 1% fuel cost waiver.

They can avail of benefits of a maximum Rs. 3500 fuel surcharge waiver per anniversary year.

7. Railway surcharge waiver

For transactions made through www.irctc.co.in, a 1.8% railway surcharge can be avoided.

Further, if cardholders transact through Indian Railways Booking Counters, they can save 2.5%.
