That is a great statement if you're looking for high turnover. If you are not a liked leader people are going to go find some place where they like the person they're working for. Even love the person they're working for. And they will go there for less money. If they don't like you they're grumbling about it every single day, they're talking about you every day at the water fountain, or they're posting their resume up on Monster, under an assumed name, of course. Your job is to make certain your likability is equal to or exceeds your leadership ability.
