This institute highlighted and built upon the findings of The Art of Problem Solving, a four year study funded by the U.S. Department of Education. During this five day institute teams of art and non-art educators participated in hands-on workshops, gallery inquiries and attended presentations by renowned experts on creativity and education. In this video Shari Tishman, Director of Project Zero and Lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, discusses Artful Thinking, a framework for understanding and developing critical thinking skills through strategic engagement with works of art.
