Northern Ireland has some great rivers - most are spate rivers that flow only after heavy rain. This means that it is so hard to plan good canoe outings.

The Mourne is a river that runs in some format most of the time. This session was on a relatively low level but still runable meaning a few bumps and scrapes were to be expected.

I've really missed white water canoeing - I am totally looking forward to some more canoe trips in the coming months. Thanks to Ulster Canoe Club for a great trip!
