Kibum stated that this song was written to his 18yr old self.
In the song Key talks about his 18yr old self's struggles,
being also a newly debuted idol in a group of 5.
He says how he was pulled so fast in many different directions that
even the sound of the wind brushing past him could knock him down.
He also talks about how he's sick of all the gossip, slander, and disrespect he's delt with that he just shuts his ears to it all...but despite that there's just somethings that hurt him too much even with his ears shut.
The present day 31yr old Kibum says to his 18yr old self to not worry so much, to enjoy his life, that there will be ups and downs and that's ok.
31yr Kibum says "I would never watch the end of my world with you", I think he means that he wouldn't be able to because 18yr Kibum would have given up and quit but then 31yr Kibum says he "would love to watch the end" with 18yr Kibum so he could show him all that 31yr Kibum has done and tell 18yr Kibum "Whether you win or lose" trust me, just keep going because this is and will be you. - AbbyAbbsteroni
