April Hinkle, The Texas Tribune's chief revenue officer, shares details about how she established and grew corporate sponsorship to support nonprofit journalism. April could not attend the workshop in person, so we recorded her remarks beforehand. The video concludes with April answering questions submitted by workshop attendees before the event.
This discussion was part of the day-long workshop "Share + learn about nonprofit news with The Texas Tribune." Hosted by The Texas Tribune and the Center for Cooperative Media at Montclair State University, the workshop took place in Studio 919, the Tribune's event space, on October 17, 2019.
