Why Does God Delay Healing? -ep 33

Описание: Healing is one of the mysteries of God’s power and love. Sometimes it happens instantly, and other times it comes in stages or is delayed. When I was on a mission trip to Prague, I prayed for a woman with bad knees. As I laid my hands on her, I felt movement happening inside her left knee—even though neither of us moved. Something was changing. When she stood, she wasn’t sure if anything had happened. I believe it may have been a delayed healing, where the full restoration came later.

Why does God sometimes delay healing? It’s not because He can’t do it instantly—He can. But sometimes He uses the waiting to build our faith, deepen our dependence on Him, or align His miracle with a greater purpose. Delayed healing reminds us that God is sovereign, and His timing is perfect. Whether healing is immediate or comes later, we can trust that He is always working for our good.

Heavenly Father, thank You that You are our Healer. We may not always understand why healing is delayed, but we trust Your wisdom and timing. Strengthen our faith to believe even when we don’t see immediate results. Remind us that You are at work in ways we cannot see, and that healing—whether instant or delayed—comes from Your loving hand. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
