The new benchmark for Mine Rehabilitation : Glencore Liddell Environmental Excellence Award Winner

Описание: The new benchmark has been set - and a big congratulations is in order!!! 👏🌱🐄 Glencore's Liddell Coal Operation has been paving the way in mine rehabilitation and is the first to achieve the new rehab certification under NSW's enhanced regulations.

Just 12 months after mining ceased, they've seen incredible productive grazing pasture over 52 hectares. After 15 years of a progressive rehab strategy, scientific trials confirmed the rehabbed land’s superior agricultural performance, while advanced digital tools ensured real-time progress and risk management.

Congrats @Glencore Liddell for taking out our 2025 Environmental Excellence Award, and for your constant efforts to deliver long-term best practice for responsible mining. It's inspiring and a definite view of the future of mine rehabilition in NSW.
