Wild Horses

Описание: In October I did a concert for Indigenous People’s Day in Las Cruces NM where I live. A disabled Vet came with his wife. They sat right in front. Afterwards he told me how my music had saved his life. That he suffered with severe PTSD. He said my version of the Stone’s “Wild Horses” was the best done. He said when he just can’t deal he goes into his space and listens to it with headphones on over and and over until he is better. He was crying. His wife told me he is serious, that I have no idea how much my music has helped him. He took some pics with me. It was moving as Charlie Watts had recently passed.

I’ve included Ledger Art pictographs and petroglyphs. I love ledger art, if you don’t know what it is please look it up. Good story.

I decided to need to make a video for my version of Wild Horses to put out there. I recorded it on my Strong Medicine album, 2012. Backing vocal help by Donny Ray Prosise. Some of the photos are by my late friend Greg Bodin who took his life this month about five or six years ago. I miss him.
