This must have been one of the nicest approaches that I've flown in a while. I left a very windy Tromso 40 minutes earlier. Altough the forecasted weather in Kirkenes was CAVOK, It was quite windy with an 18kts headwind and the runway was according to the forecast contanimated with compacted snow. With tankering fuel onboard for the next sector we were near maximum landing weight which makes things a bit more interesting on an 1900m runway with a -3.4 degrees glidepath. Always exciting times flying in Norway.
