Outfit #1 - What Color Goes With This Jacket?

For the first outfit, we're going to be taking a look at a jacket this gentleman picked up from Nordstrom Rack. This is a light brown color and a very lightweight jacket. As I said in the video black, grey, white, red and even blue would probably all pair with this relatively well.

One personal recommendation I had was to change the shoes. I just personally like making my shoes a more standout element on my outfits. It doesn't mean the black (chinos or jeans?) with the black vans don't go together. It's just that using contrast is almost always going to work out in your favor.

Outfit #2 - Is This Jacket too Short?

Short answer? No, I don't believe so I believe it's a top coat actually and top coats traditionally sit in a weird spot in terms of coat length. They're longer than most coats that sit at your waistline but shorter than most other overcoats that would usually go past your knee's

Topcoats usually go great over a suit but they can also be dressed down with something like chinos for example. Overall a very stylish very versatile coat that every man should certainly own.

Outfit #3 - Is This Jacket Color ok?

Yes! I really like the color of this jacket and I would also say the fit is solid too. This color is very versatile and I can see it pairing very well with a lot of different men's clothing items.

I do want to point out though that I'm seeing a very common pattern of taking very neutral colors and pairing them together very consistently. I would encourage you to try and think about how you can add more contrast and character to your outfits in the future You can do it with one item too and I'll give you an example. You could swap the black jeans for a lighter wash distressed pair of jeans. That would both contrast the jacket and shirt better. As well as add some more character to the outfit due to the added element of something distressed.

Outfit #4 - Do These Shoes Work?

So first I would like to say is this is a great outfit and I would also like to commend you on looking for a way to incorporate casual fashion sneakers into it. However, in this specific case, I would say the fashion sneakers are just a bit too casual in nature to compliment the overall vibe of this outfit.

I would consider swapping them for a pair of Chelsea boots or chukkas. I also think black would be a great color here and would look great next to the brown chinos you've currently got on.
