Round 1 came in hot — and so did the challenges.

After seeing another rider go down early from a cold front tire, Dakota Wold made the smart call to stay patient and bring the tire up to temperature before pushing. That decision meant giving up early ground to the front runners, but it also meant staying upright and in the fight.

By lap 3, the switch flipped.

Lap times started dropping. Confidence came back. The pace was there. Dakota began hunting down the gap and proving once again that Controlled Chaos Racing has the speed to run at the front. Even without the early push, he showed the same competitive pace from the previous round and never stopped charging.

This round wasn’t about the podium — it was about grit, discipline, and building momentum. The speed is there. The progress is real. And this season is just getting started.
