The Dark Mod is a Fan-made stand-alone updated engine/game for Thief the Dark Project, Gold, and The Metal Age (original games not required - plenty of fan-made missions).
My computer is from 10 years ago so if your video card is from the current decade, this will likely run very high settings with no visual issues (unlike my semi wire-framed view to the virtual world).
