Hello, All of You, In this video, I am explaining the New legal Update, 12 Directions Issued by the Supreme Court for Speedy Disposal of Civil Suits

Case: Yashpal Jain Vs. Sushila Devi (2023, SC)
Proper execution of summons in a time bound manner as prescribed under Order V Rule 2 of CPC should be done.
Written Statement must be filed within 30 days as stated by Order VIII Rule 1, Courts should assign reasons for extending time.
After the pleadings are complete, parties should be called to appear as per Order X Rule 1A R/W Section 89.
If the parties fail to opt for resolution by ADR, the court should frame the issues within one week.
Date of trial should be fixed in consultation with the advocates. Trial should proceed on day to day basis.
Trial judges should list only such number of cases as can be handled.
Advocates should be enlightened of Order XI (Discovery & Inspection) & Order XII (Admissions) to narrow down the scope of dispute.
Order XVII Rule 1 shall be followed and the trial shall proceed on a day to day basis.
Payment of costs to be ordered for adjournments to avoid delay by one party and to ensure opposite party is compensated.
Oral arguments to be heard immediately after conclusion of the trial and judgment should be pronounced within the period stipulated under Order XX.
Judges of trial courts should send statistics of cases pending for beyond five years to Principal District Judges once a month and it shall be forwarded to the High Court.
The Committee constituted by the Chief Justice of the High Court shall meet at least once in the Two Months and direct corrective measures for disposal of old cases.
