Ingredients:

For the cake:

4 eggs

100 g sugar

4 tbsp oil

50 g chocolate

50 g cocoa powder

50 g all-purpose flour (maida)

2–3 drops vanilla essence


For the chocolate cream:

200 g butter

200 g sugar (if you meant powdered sugar for cream; otherwise specify)

250 g melted chocolate

Method:

1. Making the Cake Batter

1. First, beat 4 eggs very well until they become light and fluffy.


2. Add 100 g sugar and beat again until the mixture becomes creamy.


3. Add 2–3 drops of vanilla essence and mix well.


4. Add 4 tbsp oil and mix gently.


5. Now, sift 50 g flour and 50 g cocoa powder together.


6. Add the dry mixture to the egg mixture using the cut-and-fold method.


7. Melt 50 g chocolate and mix it into the batter.


8. Pour the batter into a baking tin.


9. Bake at 180°C for 25–30 minutes.

2. Making the Chocolate Cream

1. Beat 200 g butter until it becomes soft and creamy.


2. Add 200 g sugar (preferably powdered sugar) and beat again.


3. Add 250 g melted chocolate and mix well.


4. Your chocolate cream is ready.

3. Assembling the Cake

1. Cut the baked cake into 5 thin layers.


2. Spread the chocolate cream between each layer.


3. Cover the entire cake with the remaining chocolate cream.


4. Decorate as you like.


5. Serve and enjoy!
