The route to Ashram takes you right to the doorstep of the Ashram via a newly constructed road. However, the road gets damaged during the monsoon season therefore it is recommended to check with the Ashram administration regarding the condition of the road before planning your trip.

This is now updated and shows the best route.

The Ashram is about 100 kms from Chandigarh and 30 kms from Solan. Chandigarh is a major city and is well connected with other cities of India. The journey from Chandigarh to the Ashram will take 4.5 hours by car. It will take longer if you are taking the bus depending upon the schedule of the buses. It is recommended that you plan your travel so that you can reach the Ashram during the day before sunset. It is not recommended to reach the Ashram in the evening or at night as we do not have resources to check you in. There are many hotels in Chandigarh, Kalka and Solan for overnight accommodation if needed so that you can travel and reach the Ashram during the day.

Solan is the last major city before the Ashram and is well connected with buses from Chandigarh and Kalka. You will have to reach Solan first by any means of transportation you are taking. From Solan, the directions to the Ashram are detailed below. In case you wish to seek any further clarifications, you can reach us via the following.

If you are travelling by train, you can easily get a taxi from the taxi stand just outside the railway station. b. You can also call for a local Taxi driver to pick you up from Kalka railway station or the Airport at Chandigarh.
