My handout for the True Parallel RLC circuit calculation.
CORRECTION: the phase angle of Z(RL) depends on R as well as L (not just R).
But still: R rotates the X(L) towards the real part (R is real). Just the resulting angle depends on the magnitude of both (R and L).
