Poor Family Await Benefits From State Marriage Assistance Scheme | Basharat Reports

Описание: In December 2015, State Marriage Assistance Scheme was introduced by the government to support the marriage of unmarried identified girls of the State living below the poverty line who may not find themselves in a position to marry due to financial constraint. Under this scheme, every person from the category is given 25000 Rupees and 5 gm gold as assistance. While as Rifat and Yasmeena were married off by their parents in 2016 and applied for the assistance from Social Welfare dept, till now they have not been paid. Ghulam Rasool Dar from Lelhaar Pulwama sold his land to marry his daughters.
