MOST BEAUTIFUL place on Earth? You MUST Visit! (Java, Indonesia)

Описание: In this video of Living the Jo life, we explore the beautiful countryside of Central Java, Indonesia. After an hour’s drive from the city of Yogyakarta, we arrived at the Borobudur Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which is the largest Buddhist temple in the world. After a lovely walk around the temple and through the surrounding parks, we were guided through a large market which made it quite a D-tour to get back to our car. Next, we headed to the Air Terjun Kedung Kayang Lookout, with stunning views of Mount Merapi and a waterfall. On the way there, we saw multiple minor eruptions from Mount Merapi, which is Indonesia’s most active volcano. The lookout is a must-see and a perfect spot for picture-perfect Instagram photos. After a 1-hour drive to get closer to Mount Merapi, we jumped in a Jeep for a 4WD off-roading adventure along the lower slopes of Mount Merapi. The tour first took us to a museum set in a burnt house, showing the destruction of the recent 2010 volcanic eruption. From there, we headed to Batu Alien, which had magnificent views of Mount Merapi. We visited a bunker designed to escape volcanic eruptions before having a lot of fun speeding and splashing through a section of a nearby river. In the afternoon, we went for a drive through local villages and agricultural land before arriving at our last destination of the day: Prambanan Temple. Prambanan Temple is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia. We had an amazing day exploring the beautiful scenery and sites of Central Java, which we highly recommend visiting.
