In southern Japan the Mount Aso volcano just had its alert level raised from yellow to orange. This was done in response to a series of earthquake swarms and gas emissions at its most active crater called "Naka-dake". A new explosive eruption seems imminent, which is a sentiment echoed by the Japan Meteorological Agency. They stated that there is a "high possibility" of Mount Aso producing a new eruption. This video will discuss the ongoing situation, and mention what might happen next.
