Our 2021 Blanket Driver has now ended but it's never a bad time to donate to Gift of the Givers. Over the last 29 years, they have supported millions of people in 44 countries with food, water, medication and sanitation aid.

The Covid-19 pandemic has severely impacted many smaller and rural town around South Africa, especially those dependent on the tourism industry.

Cars.co.za teamed up with the incredible Gift of the Givers foundation and Ford South Africa yet again to help support another Western Cape community in Riviersonderend.

In our first video, we announced a donation of R102,000 to the Foundation, raised via the advertising on our Youtube channel from 2020. We also asked you, our audience, to help us raise more funds to buy blankets for communities in need, and we thank you for your support!

We travelled two hours from Cape Town to the small town on the N2 national highway to deliver over 5 tonnes of food relief and blankets to our fellow South Africans who are struggling to make ends meet in these difficult times.
